Unity Wedding Ceremony with Photos

Celebrate your union with significance by choosing the moving and heartfelt Eternal Unity Wedding Ceremony – also the perfect way to include children in the new family. It emphasizes the importance of each child's inclusion and cooperation in the unity and well being of the new family.

This wedding includes two ceremonies — the wedding ceremony is performed first, and then the Eternal Unity Ceremony.

We are pleased to offer THREE different Eternal Unity ceremonies:

1. Candle Unity Ceremony

The Bride and Groom will light three candles representing the sacred bond between husband and wife. First the Bride, then the Groom lights each other's candle. Then, by combining their flames, the couple lights the third candle together, symbolizing their eternal unity. 

This moving marriage ceremony can be performed at any indoor location of your choice in the Greater Daytona area from Ormond Beach to New Smyrna Beach.  

(Due to the ever present ocean breezes, the Eternal Unity candle ceremony is not appropriate for beach weddings or most open outside locations. However, we can do an outside wedding and then move inside for the Unity Candle Ceremony, or you can choose the Rose Unity Ceremony or the Sand Unity Ceremony, which can be performed anywhere inside or outside.)
 

2. Rose Unity Ceremony

In the past, the rose was considered a symbol of love and a single rose always meant only one thing - it meant the words "I love you." So it is appropriate that your first gift as husband and wife would be a single rose.

In the beautiful Rose Ceremony, the Bride and Groom give each other a Rose. The Rose Ceremony is placed at the end of the wedding ceremony just after being pronounced husband and wife. In the old language of flowers, a single red rose always meant "I love you". The rose ceremony gives recognition to the new and most honorable title of "Husband and Wife". The couple is also advised to use this symbolic rose in trying times when they cannot seem to find the right words to say, such as "I am sorry," or "I forgive you," or "I am hurting."  The rose then says what matters most of all, "I still love you," and can overpower all other things and all other words. 

If there are children who will be included in the new family, each child may then be given a rose and a hug by the bride and groom, thus showing that the couple's union and their love extends to and includes the children as well, and that a new family is being formed.
 

3. Hawaiian Sand Unity Ceremony

Like the unity candle, the sand is used to symbolize the uniting of the bride and groom. Their separate lives are symbolized by two vials of sand taken from beneath the wedding couple's feet (if they are on the beach). After the exchange of rings, the officiant explains the meaning of the Unity Ceremony. The Bride and Groom then come together, and pour into one vial, the two individual vials of sand. Their flowing together symbolizes the joining of the couple as they share their first experience of unity as husband and wife. The newly formed union is represented by the intertwined pattern of sand created by the couple. This symbol is then a keepsake of your wedding day.

This ceremony too can be extended to include children. After the bride and groom have poured in their sand, the children can then collect sand from beneath the feet of the bride and groom, which the children can then add to the unity container, thus including them in the newly formed family.  Before they add their sand, the minister will address the children, asking for their love, cooperation, respect and support of the new family.

Wedding No. 3 (Eternal Unity) includes:

• Wedding Officiant: Your choice of nondenominational ordained Christian minister or licensed notary to perform a personalized, romantic, heartfelt wedding ceremony. (Spanish-speaking minister available also.)

• Our travel to any wedding site within the Greater Daytona Metro area from Ormond Beach to New Smyrna Beach. (*a travel charge may be added for locations more than 20 miles from our office.)

• Consultation with wedding coordinator to personalize and organize your wedding ceremony.

• Your choice of wedding ceremonies (there are many to choose from - traditional, contemporary, poetic, etc.) customized for you. You also may submit your own vows. 

• Optional inclusion of any children of bride or groom in the ceremony.

• Soul-stirring wedding blessings, prayers and poems of your choice from our selections.

• Wedding music - your choice of recorded traditional or nontraditional music from our extensive library of classical, country, pop, rock, soul, R&B - you name it.

• Keepsake Certificate of Marriage on bordered parchment with Gold Seal. 

• Optional use of silk Bridal Bouquet - choose from several styles and colors.

• Optional use of matching boutonniere for Groom.

• Wedding Vows printed on fine forever parchment suitable for framing.

• Choice of a romantic Unity Ceremony from our selections.

• Unity Ceremony candles, roses or sand vials appropriate for the unity ceremony you choose.

• Deluxe Photo Slide Show DVD. Includes fabulous TV compatible Slide Show with at least 60 photos and couple's favorite music playing in background. Great for sharing your wedding memories with family and friends, at parties or  reception. Includes photographing wedding ceremony and formal photo shoot immediately afterward at the wedding site. (Additional charge for shooting at other location(s) in addition to wedding site and/or for photographing reception).

•  Your choice of either:

  • a) Our Deluxe Wedding Photo Print Package consisting of either 1) 28 prints: (3) 8x10's, (8) 5x7's, (8) 3.5x5's and 9 wallets, OR 2) 20 prints - all 5x7's.
    OR...

  • b) An Internet Wedding Album (includes up to 15 photos plus any text you would like to add. Also includes 1 FULL YEAR of hosting on the Internet.)

Add $100 for sunrise or early morning wedding before 10 AM. This package requires a minimum nonrefundable deposit of $200 (credited toward the total amount due) to guarantee your date and time.
